Course Overview

The “Perform Formwork Activities” course aims to provide learners with the knowledge and skills to perform formwork activities. The “Perform Formwork Activities” is a mandatory WSH training course for all workers performing formwork activities works in construction sites and related industries.

At end of the Course, Participants will acquire good knowledge in:

• Fundamentals of Formwork construction

• Types of Formwork

• Basic risk assessment for worker level

• Hazard identification for formwork activities

• Safety & Health measures for formworks activities

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for formwork activities

• Accident Case Studies

Learning Outcomes 

• State the applicable legal and other requirements for formwork and working-at-height.

• List the roles of a worker in formwork installation, alteration and dismantling.

• State the types of formwork used in the industry.

• Apply basic risk assessment for formwork activities.

• Identify hazards associated with formwork activities.

• Observe safety and health measures for formwork activities.

• Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for formwork activities and Working-At-Height.

Target Audience

The “Perform Formwork Activities” is a mandatory WSH training course for all workers performing formwork activities works in construction sites and related industries.

Entry Requirements

Must be over 18 years of age Singapore citizen, permanent resident or holder of valid employment pass / work permit.

Assumed Skills & Knowledge

• Employability Skills (ES) Workplace Literacy level 3 and above.
• Be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to ES Workplace Numeracy level 3 and above.

Course Details

Course Duration: 7 Hours include of 1 hour assessment

Day Class: 1 full day (08.30am to 5.30pm)

Course Attendance Record: 100% attendance

Certification

Results will be released within 1 week after course ends. Upon Successful completion of the course, a Safety Pass and Certificate of Achievement endorse by Fonda Global Engineering Pte ltd will be issued to all eligible participants.
