Course Overview

This unit of competency specifies the knowledge, skills and attitudes required of Building Construction Supervisor to oversee or supervise any work or process carried out in a worksite safely and without any risk to health

At end of the Course, Participants will acquire good knowledge & skill in Knowledge:

  • Understand and interpret salient WSH legislations and other requirements relevant to construction industry

  • Understand the WSH duties and responsibilities of a supervisor in Construction industry

  • Know the WSH duties and responsibilities of a supervisor in construction industry

  • Assist in safety and health planning and organisation at worksite

  • Identify WSH hazards, evaluate and control risks in construction industry in accordance with risk management process
  • Carry out WSH inspections in accordance with organizational inspection procedures
  • Conduct incident investigation and prepare report in accordance with legal requirements and other organisational requirements

Target Audience

This unit will be relevant to Construction Site Supervisor, Clerk-of-work, Foreman, Site engineer, WSH Coordinator, WSH Supervisor or individuals who undertake the role of a supervisor in the construction industry.

Entry Requirements

  • Learners must be above 18 years of age and are assumed to:
  • Possess Employability Skills (ES) Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) level 4 and above , or equivalent

Course Details

Course Duration: 32 Hours include of 4 hour summative assessment

Day Class: 4 full days.

Daily: 8:30 to 6.00

Course Attendance Record: 100% attendance

Certification

Results will be released within 1 week after course ends. Upon completion of the course and passing the examination, an e-Statement of Attainment (SOA) from SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and a Safety Pass from Fonda Global Engineering Pte ltd will be awarded to you.
